Natural Selection is investigated in this workshop through the processes of Adaption, Inheritance and Traits; outlined by Charles Darwin. This is supported by showing many beautiful examples in nature.

Experiments to do with life and microscopes- see real insects in nano view- will be included in this workshop. We will do a number of experiments outlining the beauty of nature and how it works.

From the comfort of Down House in Kent, Darwin himself will explain the ideas in a planetarium film at the end.

This workshop starts at 2pm and will last an hour. Free access into Dinosaur grotto for even more fun included in the ticket.

We do require a parent or guardian to stay with attending children for all of our sessions. One £6.00 (£5.00 + VAT) ticket entitles 1 CHILD and 1 ADULT to attend a Science Zone Workshop. Please note there is an additional charge of £2.00 for any extra non participating children and/or adults
