In this workshop children explore sound travel and actually get to ‘see’ sound. They are immersed in numerous fun and interactive activities that help them understand  how their ear drums work to hear sound and what sound looks. They then make their own mini telephones and musical intruments to take home to help them explore further. If that wasn’t enough fun , they then have a special sound  show in our fully digital 360 degree planetarium as well as free entry into our dinosaur den and sensory rooms.

The session begins at 10:30am. This workshops are aimed at children aged 2-4 years old, last for about an hour and a half and cost £5 + VAT. Pre-booking and payment is required in advance. We do require a parent or guardian to stay with attending children for all of our sessions. One £6.00 (£5.00 + VAT) ticket entitles 1 CHILD and 1 ADULT to attend a Science Zone Workshop. Please note there is an additional charge of £2.00 for any extra non participating children and/or adults
