Science Workshops and Planetarium for Schools and General Public 

We bring exciting, hands-on science to your school or club. Science Zone is designed to explore science, geology and geography in an interactive way.

Our aim is STEM education for all and can provide hands-on science experiments workshops from Fizzy and Gooey Science to Rainbow Science, Acids and Alkalis, Floating and Sinking, Light and Sounds, Dry Ice and Materials show, Luminous Science, Smelly Science, and much more…

We also have a fully digital planetarium at our centre for natural history shows (rocks/ fossils and dinosaurs) to schools, colleges, youth clubs, scouts groups and playgroups. The service is provided in a blacked-out purpose built dome at our science centre in Bournemouth. Our fixed planetraium is one of  the most advanced digital domes in the country capable of showing 360 degree pictures and feature films.

In addition we can bring to your school coding classes with robot making. The sessions enables critical thinking, problem solving, maths, and the development of creative thoughts within children with our educational and fun structure. We offer the possibility of coming to our Coding Zone at our centre in Bournemouth as well.

Our fixed planetraium is one of the most advanced digital domes in the country capable of showing 360 degree pictures and feature films: include planetarium, dinosaur show, Egypt and the Stars, Solar System and 'Zula Patrol’ (2 cartoon films) - Under the Weather' and 'Down to Earth ' for younger children.  Cost of Bournemouth Fixed planetraium is £6 per pupil
