COME AND JOIN US for Half Term Science in October - Fun hands-on activites at Science Zone - 25th - 29th October
Timetable:
11:30 am - 12:00 pm: Dig Your Own Fossils Activity (£5 per child)
1:30 pm - 2:00 pm: Clay Volcanoes Making and Fun Eruptions activity (£3 per child)
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Making Lego robots with Lego Education sets (£50 per child)

We are using building blocks (Lego Education) - to play, learn and have fun - whilst doing science and coding!
Depending on age and ability - we will use different sets to build a robot and other structures. Session 3 hours long.
In the children's own time and pace - learn to drag and drop commands to move and light up the model.
Nice small group sessions.
Two age group levels...
5 - 7 years old:
WeDo 2.0 - You may want to download the software for a preview on your own tablet (COVID Secure) We do have some for use also.
7 - 14 years old:
Spike Prime - You will have a PC available for later use in the session.
Includes science and coding curriculum content, teacher resources, a documentation tool, building instructions and tutorials.
All unit plans and lessons have been developed using guidelines from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the 21st Century Early Learning framework (P21) and the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework.
We do require a parent or guardian to stay with attending children for all of our sessions. All our presenters are DBS checked.
