In this fun full experiment #science workshop, children will explore why things fizz and bubble using a special science material called dry ice. They will wear goggles and white coats to look like real scientists!
They mix materials to generate gases and bubbles and learn about the chemical reactions taking place. They discover how these gases affect our natural world.
The children will make self-inflating balloons, clouds, colour changing potions & smoking bubbles and much more using the dry ice.
This workshop is aimed at children aged 6 years and upwards and costs £15 (VAT included). There are two sessions running on 19th February at 10am and 1pm.
Limited spaces available. Pre-booking and payment is required in advance. We do require a parent or guardian to stay with attending children for all of our sessions. One £15.00 (VAT included) ticket entitles 1 CHILD and 1 ADULT to attend a Science Zone Workshop. Please note there is an additional charge of £2.00 for any extra non participating children and/or adults limited to three per workshop due to space constrictions.
