This is the Science Zone's favourite workshop! Children explore why things fizz and bubble and in doing so learn about how and why gases are formed. They are involved in numerous fun-filled experiments where they mix materials to generate gases and learn about the chemical reactions taking place. They also discover how these gases affect the world we live in. This workshop includes free play in our Dinosaur Den and Sensory Rooms.

This workshop is for children aged 3 years and above. There are two sessions available at 11am and 2pm lasting approximately one hour/session and costs £5 +VAT. Pre-booking and payment is required in advance.

We do require a parent or guardian to stay with attending children for all of our sessions. One £6.00 (£5.00 + VAT) ticket entitles 1 CHILD and 1 ADULT to attend a Science Zone Workshop. Please note there is an additional charge of £2.00 for any extra non participating children and/or adults up to a maximum of 3 per workshop due to space restrictions.
