This family workshop is running during Easter holidays on the 11th and 17th at 1:30pm. Suitable for ages 3 plus.

What’s it really like to be an astronaut? In this exciting hands-on workshop, children will train like space explorers and discover what it takes to live and work beyond Earth! They’ll take part in a fun, interactive activity by designing our very own space patches to take home.

Inside the planetarium, they’ll embark on a breathtaking journey through the history and future of space travel. From Tim Peake’s mission to the ISS to the Apollo Moon landings and the upcoming Artemis missions, they’ll see how astronauts prepare for space, what daily life is like in orbit, and where the next generation of explorers will go!

This workshop is for children aged 3 years and above. It lasts approximately an hour and costs £15.00 inc VAT. The ticket is for 1 adult + 1 child and includes free access to our Dinosaur Den and Sensory Rooms. Additional non participants can pay at the counter £2 access to the downstairs rooms and/or £4 for the dome presentation. For this option please give us a call on 01202729206.
