AM: “Humans in Space” + Make Your Own Rocket- Rocketry
PM: “Our Solar System” + Build Your Own Constellation viewers
Half Day Tickets (10am-11:30am or 12:30pm-2pm) cost £18 (1 child accompanied by an adult) . Full Day tickets (2 workshops 10am-2pm with an hour lunch break) cost £30 per child (accompanied by an adult).
Full day tickets include one FREE drink at the cafe.
“Humans in Space” AM Session (10am-11:30am)
Explore how humans journey into space, from the thrilling challenges of astronaut training to life aboard the International Space Station. Discover how we survive, live, and work in the unique environment of space. This workshop is for ages 6 plus. It lasts approximately an hour and a half and costs £18. The session starts at 10am.
Activity-Mini Straw Rockets / Rocketry:
Become an aerospace engineer! Design, build, and launch your very own straw-powered rocket. Learn how rockets fly, experimenting with shapes and materials to create the ultimate mini rocket.
“Our Solar System” PM Session (12:30pm-2pm)
Embark on an extraordinary journey through our cosmic neighbourhood. Explore planets, moons, and asteroids, and learn about the incredible wonders of our solar system in this immersive experience.
Activity-Constellation Viewers & 3D Space Video:
Create your own constellation viewer to discover and map star patterns visible in our night sky. Then, immerse yourself in an exciting 3D video showcasing breathtaking views from across the universe.
Advance payment and booking are required to secure a place. We do require a parent or guardian to stay with the attending children for all of our sessions. One £18.00 ticket entitles 1 CHILD and 1 ADULT to attend a Science Zone Workshop. Please note there is an additional charge of £2.00 for any extra non-participating children and/or adults up to a maximum of 3 due to space constrictions.
