Workshops offer from Dec 2021 until June 2022 - £170 plus VAT for a 60 minute sessions of a workshop. Price includes a FREE 'Primary Science Teachers Resource Book' from the STFC (UK Gov Science Facilities). We are offering live online interactive planetarium (LIP) on all our planetarium and dinosaur shows. These are offered virtually via a smart board or PC to a group or small amount of kids. You will experience the same, curriculum-linked live astronomy shows right into your classroom. Depending on the show and time availability, we can also include short videos and simulations, plus live Q&As. This will not only be safer for our presenters, but also aligns with Government advice about keeping pupils and teachers safe within the school setting.
We are flexible on the delivery method and can complete 60 minutes of content for this price plus a further 10 minutes Q&A. Further 60 minute sessions are prices the same. You can combine these with practical experiments but note the details on materials below. Note Consumables such as dry ice, rocket lids and materials, vassals (hire or purchase), slime materials, clay, art materials and other consumables -- not included within the £150 (staff costs only) As an alternative to virtual -- Our COVID Secure Planetarium has PPE screens between the presenter and the Bubble Group. We have full air replacement inside the dome with circulation fans and special screens with a full Risk COVID Assessment for the school to inspect.
